Business insurance

Your business.
One pack.

One form in plain English. Liability comes standard, you switch on the rest, more than one insurer prices it, and a real broker places the policy and picks up the phone at claim time.

What’s in the pack

One business pack.
Tick what you need.

Liability comes standard. Switch on the rest and it’s one policy, one quote, priced by multiple insurers.

Always included

Public & products liability

Someone is injured, or your work damages property that isn’t yours. It’s the cover every pack is built on, and it’s in yours from the start, up to $20M.

A pipe bursts over your stock

Property & contents

Your fit-out, stock and equipment, plus the building itself if you own it.

You’re shut for a fortnight

Business interruption

Keeps your income and rent flowing while an insured loss keeps the doors closed.

Someone breaks in overnight

Theft & money

Break-ins and stolen stock, plus cash on site and on the banking run.

The shopfront gets put through

Glass

Shopfronts, internal glass, mirrors and signage, replaced at cost.

The fridge dies on a Friday

Equipment breakdown

Fridges, air-con and machinery covered when they suddenly stop working.

Also in the drawer

Four more sections

  • Employee fraud
  • Portable property
  • Tax audit costs
  • Goods in transit

Switch them on in the quote if they fit.

Considered cyber?

A hack isn’t a burst pipe.

A business pack is written for physical loss and liability. Ransomware, a hacked inbox or a customer data breach are generally the business of a separate cyber policy; the pack’s PDS says what it does and doesn’t respond to.

Who it’s for

From the counter to the ute.

You pick your business from the full list of Australian industry codes. Each insurer decides which it writes, and the quote says so plainly when one won’t.

  • Cafés & takeaway
  • Retail shops
  • Hair & beauty
  • Gyms & studios
  • Offices
  • Trades
  • and plenty more

Worth knowing

The bits people wish they’d read.

What’s always in the pack?

Public and products liability, for injury to someone else or damage to property that isn’t yours. Every other section is one you switch on in the form, and it is priced into the same policy.

Which sections do businesses like mine choose?

The form shows what each section responds to and what businesses of your kind commonly add. Whether one fits your business is your call; the PDS beside each price sets out exactly what it covers.

What if my business can’t be priced online?

Some occupations, premises and histories are priced by an underwriter rather than the computer. You’ll see that on the page instead of a number, and a broker comes back to you with the figure.

What does using Gary cost?

Getting quotes costs nothing and obliges you to nothing. If you buy, our remuneration is included in the premium shown, and every quote says how we’re paid.

Is this advice?

Everything here is general information only. It doesn’t consider your objectives, financial situation or needs. We show the covers and what similar businesses commonly choose; read the PDS and decide what fits.
