Claims

When it goes wrong, Gary picks up the phone.

A claim is the moment your cover matters most. Lodge it from your account and our team handles the insurer on your behalf, keeping you posted until it’s sorted.

How a claim works

Three steps. None of them a fax.

  1. 1

    Tell Gary what happened

Sign in, start a claim, and give us the basics: what happened, when, and any photos or documents you have. A few minutes is enough to get it moving.

  2. 2

    Gary rings the insurer

Our team manages the claim with the insurer on your behalf, chases the back-and-forth so you don’t have to, and keeps you posted at every step.

  3. 3

    Back to normal

Once it’s assessed and settled, you’re back to it. You can follow your claim’s progress any time from your account.

Before you start

Handy to have on hand.

You don’t need all of it to get started. Lodge what you have and we’ll help fill in the rest.

  • Your policy number (it’s in your account)
  • What happened: the date, the place and a short description
  • Photos of the damage, if you have them
  • Any quotes, invoices or receipts for repairs or replacement
  • A police or event reference, for theft or a break-in

In your corner, not the insurer’s

You don’t face the insurer alone. Whether a claim is payable depends on your policy’s terms and the circumstances. Our team will talk you through it, put your case forward, and push for a fair, timely outcome.

Something urgent?

If anyone’s hurt or there’s a safety risk, call emergency services first. For a break-in or theft, report it to the police and note the reference. Then lodge your claim, or reach us and we’ll help you through it straight away.
